The Apple iPhone X is launched worldwide, and so is its teardown and torture test videos. According to a Twitter video, the tenth-anniversary edition is spotted to be powered by an unusual two separate battery setup.
The video was uploaded on Anson Chen on his Twitter handle with a caption “Friends in Shenzhen have been torn down and really two of batteries”. The clip was uploaded yesterday and it is only 7 seconds long. The video shows the display from the top being removed. One can clearly see the two batteries just below the new camera and FaceID set up. The batteries come with some symbols including the recycle.
The reason for the dual battery setup is currently unknown but maybe, this is to split the battery capacity between two, to avoid the heating issues or just to make some more room for other components to fit it.
Meanwhile, the iPhone X is all set to go on sale today in India. The latest bezel-less device will be available through both online and offline stores starting from 6:00 PM in the country. The iPhone X is priced at Rs 89,000 for the 64GB variant and a whopping Rs 1,02,000 for the 256GB variant. The phone will be available on online platforms including Flipkart, Amazon and in terms of offline channels, users can buy it at Brightstar Telecommunication India, Redington, Croma, Reliance Digital and other retail stores.
